Fundraiser for Rosemere Cancer Foundation
Over the years I have done a number of cycle rides to raise money for various charities. This culminated in 2024 when I raised over £10,000 for Macmillan riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This brought my total over the years to more than £25',000.
Although I have been supported by friends and family, by far the biggest source of contributions has been from the generosity of my patients.
This year I have joined a team of 19 doctors doing a two day, 140 mile ride from Barrow to Burnley, visiting eight football grounds on the way. We will do this on the 16th and 17th of September. We are raising money for the Rosemere Cancer Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital. For more details please download the flyer here.

Welcome to G2Orthopaedics. Here you will find some information about me, what I do and how to arrange a private consultation. I have been a consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in Preston in Central Lancashire since 2001, after training in the North West of England, Edinburgh and Adelaide, Australia.
I specialise in joint replacement of the hip and knee. At the hip, as well as total hip replacement, I have a 20-year experience of the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (Andy Murray's op).
For knee arthritis, my practice includes both total and partial knee replacement. My private practice is based at Fulwood Hall Hospital. I will see patients privately with or without a referral from a GP, although I will always keep your doctor informed about any advice or treatment given.
